Events in Survival are finally here!
Events will be scheduled throughout the day, giving everyone on the server regular chances to take part and win rewards.
Before an event starts, you will see a countdown in chat.
When the countdown reaches 0, the event location will be announced in chat.
Loot Crates
A Loot Crate will appear somewhere in the Survival world.
The coordinates will be announced to everyone.
Your goal is to be the first player to reach the Loot Crate and claim it.
The first player there wins the reward.
Rewards can include:
Crate Keys
Essence
Spawners
And more
If nobody claims the Loot Crate straight away, reminders will keep going out while it is still active.
See the coordinates, get there first, and take the reward.
Shooting Stars
Shooting Stars work differently.
This is a group event.
A Shooting Star will appear somewhere in the world and its coordinates will be announced.
Everyone can travel there and help mine through its core.
The Shooting Star has its own health.
If you contribute enough damage, you will qualify for your own random reward when the Shooting Star is destroyed.
You do not need to be the first player there.
Turn up, help mine it, and qualify for a reward.
The more players who join, the faster the Shooting Star will be destroyed.
Use /events
Use /events at any time to check what is happening.
You can see if an event is currently active and when the next event is scheduled.
The next event time is also shown in Discord, so you can check when you need to be online.
This is only the start
Loot Crates and Shooting Stars are the first events.
More event types are already planned, including more races, group challenges and other server-wide events.
Keep an eye on chat throughout the day and be ready for when the next event begins!
